Frames and Multiple Domains

There are restrictions on what you can do with Javascript when your frames are loaded from different domains.

Javascript is very limited in what it can do when you are using frames and have a page from a different domain loaded into the other frame. If it were not limited in this way then all sorts of security issues would arise.
