Automatic Language Selection

Friday October 24, 2008
JavaScript can find out what language your visitors are using on their computer

Do you want to put multiple language versions of your content onto your site. JavaScript can't help you do the translations but it can help when it comes to selecting which page to display. Your visitors already have their computer configured for a particular language and using this small piece of JavaScript you can automatically select to display web pages in that language, assuming that you have a copy in their chosen language. Where you don't have a copy in their language this script will display the pages in your chosen default language.
