Regular Expressions can test for characters that are not on your keyboard.

You will have occasions where you need your Javascript to compare on characters that can't be entered from the keyboard because they are used to control the computer. The eleventh tutorial on Regular Expressions introduces the escape sequences you can use to reference these characters.
