Stephen Chapman first has been programming computers since the late 1970s, performing a wide variety of different computer programming jobs, and using a range of different languages including JavaScript.
Experience:
Since 2000 Stephen has written thousands of web pages containing information about computers. Stephen also teaches a number of computer related courses at the local community college.
Education:
When Stephen started programming the many computer courses that are around today did not exist. The way into the industry was to somehow obtain a trainee programming position and to learn on the job. Since that time Stephen has attended many short computer courses. He also has a Workplace Training and Assessment Certificate IV (the main adult teaching qualification in Australia).
From Stephen Chapman:
I believe that the best way to learn anything about computers is with real world working examples and so I include such examples on the web pages that I write where ever possible so you can see it working for yourself right from the start.
