Slide Show
Part 1 : Introduction

By , About.com Guide

If you have a lot of images that you want to display, you may like the idea of displaying them on your page one at a time. Your visitors can then click on a link to see the next image in this slide show.

The first thing you need to do is to create your images. The slide show will look the best if all of the images are the same size. If the images are different sizes then whatever else appears below or to the right of the slideshow will move on the page whenever the image to be displayed differs in size from the previous one. If the slideshow appears on a page by itself then this wont matter.

Let's begin by looking at a small slide show example so that you can see for yourself how it works.
