The best place to ask for help with a Javascript problem is on a forum that specifically deals with Javascript problems. Most of the big Javascript sites have an associated forum where you can ask for help with Javascript. Just about any of these forums makes a suitable place to post a request for help with your Javascript problem and there is no real need to post the question to too many of the forums as there are a lot of the helpers who frequent all of the major Javascript forums and so will find your request in whichever forum you post it to.
Where the choice of forum to post your request for help may make a difference is where you are having problems with a pre-built script that you are trying to install to your site. In this case you will probably have a better chance of getting a more helpful answer if you post the query on the forum associated with the site that you got the script from (where people are more likely to be familiar with the script) rather than on some other forum.
