Debug

Definition: The story goes that when one of the early computers malfunctioned Admiral Grace Hopper discovered that the problem was that a moth had got into the circuitry and caused a short circuit. This was the origin of the term bug in reference to problems with computer programs running correctly. The process of removing errors from computer programs has therefore become known as debugging.
