Property

Definition: Properties are those values that are associated with a particular object that distinguish that object from other objects belonging to the same class. For example each image on your web page has the following properties (amongst others): width, height, filename, title, alternate text. Javascript can change the values of these properties by calling the methods attached to the image class.
