Definition: A User Javascript is Javascript that is attached to the web browser itself instead of to a particular web page. These Javascripts can be configured to run either on every web page that you visit or on those web pages that you select to run them on. They are called user Javascripts because they are installed by the user directly in their web browser instead of being attached to any particular web page. The Opera web browser supports User Scripts directly while Firefox and Internet Explorer have add-ons available that can provide the ability to customise your browser with user scripts.
