Guide Review - Javascript Kit

Javascript Kit is a reasonable resource for Javascript tutorials but the library of scripts on the site could be better.

All of the scripts appear to have been written back when Netscape 4 and Internet Explorer 4 were the most common browsers in use. Many of the scripts have been patched to handle the standard DOM supported by version 5+ browsers but the code for the version 4 browsers still takes precedence.

If the scripts were all that was on this site then it probably wouldn't be worth visiting but there is also a reasonable selection of Javascript tutorials that provide a decent explanation of how to perform a number of basic and advanced tasks using Javascript.
