As JavaScript has evolved the way scripts ought to be coded has changed. If you know of a script that does exactly what you want but is badly in need of updating then tell us about it so that a more modern version of the script can be created.
If the script is on this site and doesn't have a link on the page to a modern equivalent then I'll need to rectify that omission. If the script is from elsewhere then I may be able to write a modern equivalent (being careful not to copy any of their code). I can't do these updates though unless you identify the outdated scripts.
